52 card challenge 2014 - 1st card done!

How hard can it be to make one card each week?  Well, very if last year was anything yo go by!  But New Year, new start and all that so I'm giving it another go.  If you're not aware of the challenge then head on over to Nat's blog at Kool Kitty Musings.

So on to week one - Make a card using new stash.  Sadly I didn't get any for Christmas (It's OK I really didn't need any, wanted yes, but needed no!) so I used the last kit I purchased from Quirky kits.

It was thrown together so quickly and I added a wood veneer heart, some twine and some enamel dots.

Feels good to have got the first one ticked off the list :)

Great card. I've got a few of those tag things but never sure how to use them on a layout so think I'll be card lifting you and popping them onto cards x

Lovely card. Those tags are great. I've done my week one card too, just need the rain to stop for 5 minutes so I can take a decent photo!

That's lovely Julia, "thrown together" doesn't do it justice. I love the layering of the tags. Turned out lovely!
Here's the week 2! ;)
