Last Tuesday I took Alex, her friend and Josh to see a show. As I was walking up to the building I realised it qualified for Number 2 on the scavenger hunt - A theater for performing arts. The building used to be a Zion church and looks very striking nestled amongst the modern homes either side.
It's now called the Z Arts centre and like Julie Kirk I was pleased to see a sign outside proclaiming what goes on within! In fact not just a sign but a banner; four of them to be precise...
And this is what we had come to see. Footloose! (I can hear you singing along already!!) It's one of my favourite films so I was interested to see how it adapted to stage. It was a special performance as it was the same youth group who did a stunning version of Les Mis earlier this year and Alex's close friend had a starring role as the Pastor's wife. It was opening night and with lots of support from an enthusiastic audience and a very hyped cast of students we enjoyed a great show!
So my list so far looks like this and I have a couple of more I have photographed but not blogged. I'm hoping I can find a few in my up coming holiday. If you want to find other finds then head on over to Rinda's blog;

Great pics and I fancy joining in with a scavenger hunt too :D
I don't usually do much theater but I think that looks fantastic! Loved the movie so I am sure I would enjoy that :)
What a great occasion, and perfect for another step in completing the photohunt. You are right - the architecture is very striking.
