This layout was based on a Shimelle Sketch to Scrapbook page. I was really pleased to see she has focused some recent sketches on smaller square photos along with 6x4 and I had although I had a larger square for this page (they were all taken on my iPhone) the sketch worked brilliantly.
I decided to zoom in on the journalling so I don't have to type it all out (and you don't have to strain your eyes!)...
I then set about finishing up my divided page protectors (I started doing one of these for each month last year and am determined to keep it going!). This is the page to face the above layout and includes Josh getting his blue belt at Ju Jitsu, dressing up as the Union Jack for a Jubilee party at Scouts, his love of climbing the local trees and some wedding anniversary flowers...
The other side matches a previous layout "Torch Relay" and features a trip to the local skate park where we took Josh and his class after completing their SATs in Year 6...
Back with another page later this week and some more Summertime Scavenger Hunt photo finds.

Really fab layout and love your use of the divided page protectors. I still have a lot of that kit - I found some of the papers a real struggle to use but they look great on your pages cut into much smaller pieces. I think it is time to get hacking at that kit!!
I love your divided pages..and how nice to take the year 6 children to a skate park x
I think this system looks like it works really well, and it shall be what I aspire to in the future, when we have moved and settled down somewhere .... I wonder how long that will take?
Lovely bright pages. x
Beautiful layout :) Love all the colour
Great colors. I love the embellies at the very top and bottom. I always admire that style yet never seem able to do it myself.
