Not a challenge or a Sarah's Cards' kit in site...

For once I scrapped with photos that I wanted to scrap just because.  We recently went to the awards ceremony for my daughter to get her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award and so I wanted to record what she had done to get this fabulous acheivement.

I had some papers left from another page that went really well with the photos and added a little pop of pink to lift the page.

I didn't want to ruin the page with reams of writing so decided to make a 6x12 facing pager with the photo from the awards evening and my journalling...

She is now well into her Silver award and loving it :)

Fab layout - love all the sprinkles and how you have kept the journalling separate.

Beautiful layout Julia and congratulations to Alex! K wanted to start his this year but is still a bit too young. Looking at your photos makes me laugh though because we did go and get his backpack for his other away trips with cadets and it is so funny because they just look so big on them, even though he is now slightly taller than me!
