Memorandum Monday

So what did I learn or do that was new this weekend?  Well, this one will probably divide opinion but I went to an evening with a medium for the first time!

I'll be honest I have no clear view on this.  The logical part of my brain tells me it's not possible whereas the emotional side tells quite a different story!  It was, if nothing else, very entertaining and there were was one connection that was particularly detailed and afterwards we spoke to her as she was a friend of a friend.  She said he'd got it scarily spot on...

It was an interesting way to spend a Sunday evening and a few of us from the crowd who went said we were intrigued enough to go back for more when he comes back later this year!

Sadly he didn't connect with me or give me the winning lottery numbers so it was back to work and reality today.

If you'd like to take a trip around other people's weekends to see what they've learnt or done for the first time head on over to Sian's blog.

Certainly something a bit different! Although I've never been interested in going to a medium, I will admit that the bit of me that is so interested in history would love to believe there is some way we could reach into the past.

Have a great week Julia

I'm in the believer camp and if it helps those that are needing it, well happy for them. I'm glad you went with an open mind ... I'm just sorry he didn't have the winning lotto numbers lol

I'm a big believer in all things spiritual although I've never been to a medium.

I've never been to one and am not sure if I believe or not. I think I would have to go to make up my mind! Glad you enjoyed it though.

I've been to a few of these evenings and also a couple of 1-2-1 meetings with mediums and each time I come away wondering how they can be so 'spot on'. I do believe there's something in it, but I do think you have to be very careful who you put your trust in. I think if you go along, as you did, with the intention of being 'entertained' then you're in for a good evening.

I bet is was a fun evening - and I myself would view it merely as entertainment too.

Sounds like you had a very interesting time - it is something I am really not sure of, though I have had some very spooky experiences especially when working as a night nurse, I know there are some out there who are ready to exploit the vunerable. Shame you didn't get the lottery numbers - hope you have had a good week at work
