Grandma Daphne

With the little  that was left of my Hey Little Magpie kit I decided to do a monochrome layout as there were lots of blues and greens. I chose a sketch from Stuck! which is their current challenge.

And scrapped a photo from last Summer when we visited my parents for a few days. It was the first time the kids had seen my mum since her double heart by pass, three months earlier. I was so pleased with how well she looked and we had a lovely day out at a NT property in Oxfordshire.

I just love this photo of all three of them.

I added some black doilie rub one from Kaiser Craft and added a bit of mist and some sequins (my go to these days it seems!) and it all came together very quickly.

I think I can squeeze one more page out of the kit so hope to get some crafty time this weekend.

Beautiful layout, can I ask what mist you've used?

That's a lovely trio :). I didn't know rub-on doilies existed! The blues and greens are perfect with your photo. And your Mum does indeed look very well there.
